The Imperial Hotel Ballyshannon was established in 1781. The Dorrian family purchased the Hotel over 60 years ago, it has been extended and renovated over the years, tastefully blending the old with the new, bringing it to the excellent standard it is today. With over 60 years experience as a family-run hotel, the hotel now is better known as Dorrians Imperial Hotel.
Bar, Function and Conference Rooms
The Assaroe Lounge is a spaciour bar, name after the famous Assaroe Falls that graced Ballyshannon in earlier days.
The Allingham Room serves as a small Conference room and also utilised for smaller functions and parties.
The Erne room is a luxurious function and conference Room and caters for up to 300 persons for conferences and functions.
Fine Cuisine and Dining Room
Our elegant restaurant offers excellent Irish cuisine, enganced by a carefully chosen and imaginative wine list. Menus are all designed by our Head Chef, who relishes in using wonderful natural fresh produce, much of which is available in the area. In the restaurant, as in other areas of our hotel. Our courteous and efficient staff provide that special type of service which has earned a widespread reputation for the hotel.
Luxury Bedrooms and Ensuite Bathrooms
Our emphasis again is on comfort in our bed-rooms, which over-look the town and mountains beyond. We have 47 bedrooms, which vary in size and all are tastefully furnished to a very high standard. Each with T.V. telephone, hair-dryer and tea and coffee facilities.
